There are
several ways to “adopt” a Senior.
|
|
1 |
You can
“adopt’ a Senior by making him/her part of your family. By
visiting him/ her, celebrating Holidays together, take him/her out
on a regular basis and/or involve him/her in family activities.

2 |
You can
“adopt” a Senior by visiting him/her on a regular basis, run some
errands, drive him/her to doctor’s appointments and call on a
regular basis.
|
|
3 |
You can
“adopt” a Senior by calling and writing him/her.
|
|
4 |
You can
“ adopt” a Senior by making a monetary contribution on the account
of a specific Senior. |
| |
|
Through letters, cards, uplifting notes, an occasional small gift
(body lotion, a box of a favorite coffee, postage stamps, slippers
etc), you will encourage and support your Senior.
It is
vitally important that you are 100% dedicated and able to follow
through with this gift of love since you are committing to someone
who may come to rely on you.
That means that you should get in touch with your Senior at least
once a week either by visiting him/her, sending him /her at least
1 item (a card, a note, a letter, a small gift) a week or making a
phone call, beginning as soon as you receive your assignment.
Please give this serious consideration BEFORE you submit a
registration. Being a Senior Angel is a long-term commitment!
